This is Bow Road in Wateringbury on Christmas Day. The River Medway has flooded its banks and has covered the road to the north of the station by a foot. Cars still happily drove through but beyond Wateringbury Bridge at Bow Hill the road was closed. The ambulance did not have much option but to take this route.
