Mulgrave House fronts onto Castle Road but backs on to the cliff edge path shown in Image Between Mulgrave House and the white building is Mulgrave place, leading to the cliff edge and passing Castle-by-the-Sea, see Image the foreground is dominated by the burial ground around St Mary's church, many of the headstones and chest tombs here are 18th century.
