The Victory Services Club was founded in Holborn in 1907. The current Memorial Wing was opened on the present site by Sir Winston Churchill after the Second World War, and its accommodation was extended and upgraded in 2009. The Patron-in-Chief is the Duke of Edinburgh. Since its formation, the Club has attracted many famous Patrons including General Eisenhower, Field-Marshal Earl Alexander and Field-Marshal The Viscount Montgomery.
