The entrance to London Underground Ltd's Acton Works on Bollo Lane. I'm unsure of the original function of the curved building in the centre of the image but it may have been a gatehouse. The current gatehouse is located a short distance down the road onto the site - the grey cabin on the left. On the right of the photo is the surviving abutment of the bridge that carried the Acton Town to South Acton branch of the District Line over Bollo Lane.
