Taken in April 1975, this photo shows London Country RF122 (LYF 473) at the North end of Ewhurst village with The Bulls Head sign on the left. The bus was on a private tour of Surrey bus routes showing London Transport route 448 which ran between Ewhurst and Guildford via Peaslake, Gomshall, Shere and Merrow until the mid-1960s. This bus service is now operated by Buses Etcetera as route 25 on Mondays to Saturdays only. The K6 telephone box seen to the right of the photo is still there today.
