The area once occupied by the former Surrey County Lunatic Asylum has been redeveloped into an attractive residential village. The former chapel shown here is now re-used as the Leisure Centre. Netherne is certainly an attractive place to live, but two disadvantages: (1) No public transport at all, (2) no pub.
