On the outskirts of Belfast, Victoria Park station was opened by the Belfast & County Down Railway in 1908 as a "railmotor" halt. It only had one small shelter on the "up" (Belfast platform) side, and this vanished by 1977. Victoria Park closed in 1988, although few trains called by 1985. One of Northern Ireland Railways' "Hunslet" diesel locomotives pushes the 17.37 Bangor - Belfast (Central) passenger service past the halt.
