Originally thought to be a barge of boxes, turned out to be a floating hotel. She has more recently been used by the Royal Navy in Portsmouth for crews in the process of changing ships. See http://www.kentonline.co.uk/medway_messenger/news/mystery-of-huge-floating-hotel-8351/ for more details about the ship and the controversy that it caused. As seen from the waterfront near Chatham Library. Rochester Castle is in the background.
