That is the inscription on the front of this remnant from the Old Docklands. A good word, Chandler. Someone who Chandles. Logic suggests that there should be a verb "to chandle" but apparently not. Shame. A good day's chandling could be quite rewarding, I imagine. Just to check this I Googled "verb chandle" but no result. Except I now know there is a verb "to candle" meaning to check eggs for cracks. Another Geograph inspired moment of true trivia.
