Viewed on Monday October 28th 2013, the first day of the partial closure of Newport bus station. Bays 1 to 11 on this side of the barrier remain open. Bays 12-31 ahead are fenced off and will be demolished as part of a major city centre redevelopment. The original plan was that the whole bus station would be closed from today, but the smaller replacement bus station in Market Square is not yet ready. Buses formerly using the closed bays have been relocated to various city centre bus stops as a temporary measure.
