Gartcosh railway station, North Lanarkshire

Opened in 1837 by the Glasgow, Garnkirk & Coatbridge Railway, this station closed in 1962. It was rebuilt on the same site and reopened in 2005. View west towards Garnkirk and Glasgow just before the line was electrified. See Image] for a similar view taken three years later.
