This rather splendid looking public house has been closed for some time. It is on the corner of White Hart Lane and Penshurst Road. It was a fairly big pub with several pool tables and was very popular on football match days, being not far from the Tottenham Hotspurs ground, and virtually next door to White Hart Lane Railway Station. The pub has been around a long time. It is mentioned in the Middlesex Post Office Directory of 1874, but could be even earlier. Image
