This parade of shops, plus McColls nearby and the Co-op around the corner, have been catering for the local villagers and (probably more importantly) passing motorists and workers from the huge BAe Systems site opposite, for many years .... certainly since the mid 1960's when I lived in the village. The parade consists of an Estate Agents, a Sandwiches, Snacks and Coffee Bar, a Fish'n'Chip Shop ... and on the upper level a Hardware Shop accessed by a door at the left end. See also ...
