The name of the field according to Seaford's 1839 tithe map. This is the eastern remnant of the field much of which now lies underneath the estate built around South Way. The field is not part of the South Downs National Park and thus will probably be developed sometime in the near future. This is the view from the south eastern end of the field looking down on the houses in Chyngton Way some of whom were built within the former field boundary. See Image for a view looking west.
