This striking installation is made from stainless steel with resin inserts and internal lighting. The figure is also made of resin and represents a surfer. The design of the work is inspired in part by the nearby Church of St John and the Winter Gardens. The sculptor is Lucy Glendinning. The large blue pebbles help to protect the main structure from traffic but can also be used as seats. They are the work of Lucy and also Mark Merer.
