Fleet Place felt like a disorienting and claustrophobic space, dominated by overbearing office towers, blocks and slabs. It is a confined pedestrian precinct leading south from Holborn Viaduct. It sits partly above City Thameslink London Overground station, signed on the right. The occasion was to attend a three-hour training workshop for charity trustees.
