At the time of the Faenol Estate sale in 1967, Garth Fawr consisted of 70 acers, 30 acres of which was permanent pasture, 18 acres rough pasture and 20 acres was arable. The farm house and buildings have been considerably improved and enlarged since 1967, when the house was only two bedroomed. In 1967 the rent was £165pa.
