Holy Trinity church was opened in 1842. It served the local (predominantly poor) people and was therefore made of more modest designs. Indeed, a workhouse was established nearby (and is now converted into modern mews).However, the building retains an elegant charm, in its white lias stone. See Image] for more about this church.
