A workman's van and a tractor and flailer on the cricket ground on Cricketfield Road, with houses on Cricketers Green behind. A few minutes later the tractor reached our side of the field. We were waiting for a bus on the other side of the hedge, some pieces of which accompanied us onto the vehicle as the doors opened.
