This shelter provides welcome relief for the many walkers along Lytham Green ... and they can choose to sit facing inland towards the photo position, outland (?) looking out over the Ribble Estuary or along the Green towards the famous Lytham Windmill. The fourth side - on the left in this picture - overlooks the Land Registry's Birkenhead House which is just behind the railings.
