This giraffe sculpture, called Polka Dotty, is one of 30 2.5metre tall giraffes located in and around Colchester as part of the Stand Tall Trail in celebration of Colchester Zoo's 50th birthday. A different artist has designed each one and this one is by Samuel Thomas. On 19th September 2013 the sculptures will be auctioned to raise funds for conservation through Colchester Zoo's charity, Action for the Wild.
