A line of fir trees has been cut through and new lights added to the main road (the fourth set in a small stretch) to provide access to the new housing estate built on the land that was once occupied by Plant Breeding Institute, (PBI). See http://www.jic.ac.uk/corporate/about/history.htm#PBI
