Old YHANI Youth Hostel at Beltoy, Co Antrim

Beltoy hostel, in the farmhouse at the centre of the picture, opened in 1943 and closed in 1953. It was the sort of location beloved of Belfast youngsters who looked for a weekend away from the city, but within cycling distance. The surroundings in this part of County Antrim are especially lush.
