Public bridleway Leatherhead 140 leaves Oaklawn Road just on the north side of the bridge over the M25 (strictly speaking, the right of way runs parallel to the motorway, but a crash barrier prevents access any nearer to the bridge). The bridleway connects Oaklawn Road to the Leatherhead Road via Rowhurst Avenue, a grandly named track through Teazle Wood. Before the construction of the M25, the bridleway emerged next to Dorincourt. A few metres into the path, a permissive path (marked by a post) turns left parallel to Oaklawn Road to connect with public footpath Leatherhead 18: this route is part of the Leatherhead Common circular walk. The guide post marks both the public bridleway and the route of the circular walk across the M25 bridge to connect with public footpath Leatherhead 159.
