Attwood's Alley runs roughly parallel to Leyborne Park, with no junctions and, apart from one or two back gates to gardens, no access to premises; its sole functions seem to be to preserve a long-standing right of way, and to allow one to walk the length of Leyborne Park in the shade if the day is hot.
