Introduction

The photograph on this page of You can see the join by Neil Owen as part of the Geograph project.

The Geograph project started in 2005 with the aim of publishing, organising and preserving representative images for every square kilometre of Great Britain, Ireland and the Isle of Man.

Some of the outer reaches of the walls and other structures of Llanthony Priory, with more modern attachments. The area had been pretty run-down and by the time the canals were bringing trade and wealth to Gloucester, a lot of use was made of the spaces for storage and the like.
