Situated on the A12 London Road, this TE comprises the front redbrick building, which dates from the GPO era, plus the dark wooden building behind it which was probably added during the 1970s to cater for an increase in telephone traffic. Besides Blythburgh, this TE also serves Thorington nearby. The numbering range of this TE is (01502) 478xxx, the (01502) referring to the Lowestoft group of TEs, and its postcode is IP19 9NQ.
