The Aire Sculpture trail was opened in May 2013 and consists of 15 sculptures along the riverside footpath from the Victoria Rd. bridge in Saltaire to Baildon Bridge in Shipley. Sculptor Mick Kirkby-Geddes led workshops with the children of Wycliffe Primary who were encouraged to use their ideas and feelings about the area to produce drawings and sculptures of their own. These then inspired Mick's own work in preparing the finished metal sculptures for the trail.
