View eastward on A , towards Kirkby Stephen and Darlington: ex-NER Tebay - Kirkby Stephen - Darlington line. The station, its former station house being on the right, had been closed 1/12/52 but the line survived for goods until 22/1/62: the A685 road has since been built over the track-bed.
