The Excelsior marching band parading in South Street, Bridport in the spring of 2000. (I can't recall the event). The shop in the background is H.C. Bell's, a wonderfully convenient convenience store. Sadly, as I write this (March 2007) the shop is being converted into housing, forcing local people into the clutches of the nearby vast supermarket. Progress?
