Two horsepower on Matching Road

Rather a distant view, but as I had already been behind it for some way before overtaking, I didn't want to have a repeat performance on this rather narrow road. Two black horses pulling a four-wheeled carriage, larger wheels at rear, with seats front and rear, the rear ones sideways-on facing each other and entered from the rear. Presumably there is a technical term for this type of carriage, but I don't know it.
