TOWN CRIERS COTTAGE HIGH STREET BEMPTON WITH DIAMOND JUBILEE HERITAGE PLAQUE MARKING THE HISTORY OF THE APPOINTMENT IN FEBRUARY 2012 OF DAVID HINDE AS BRIDLINGTON's TOWN CRIER -THE FIRST SINCE 1901 -THE FIRST FOR 111 YEARS. DAVID HINDE APPOINTED MEMBER OF ANCIENT & HONOURABLE GUILD OF TOWN CRIERS & LOYASL COMPANY OF TOWN CRIERS. THIS COTTAGE IS ONE OF THE OLDEST COTTAGES IN BEMPTON AND MAY BE AS OLD AS LATE 1600's.
