The last working brewery at Craigmillar and Duddingston, Drybrough & Co. Ltd, closed in 1987. The Drybrough brewery building, seen here, still stands (for now) awaiting redevelopment. A superb 1930 oblique aerial photograph of the Craigmillar and Duddingston breweries (with informative description by Malcolm Cant) is reproduced on page 135 of Malcolm's "Edinburgh from the Air : 70 Years of Aerial Photography" (2003), published by Malcolm Cant Publications in association with the Royal Commission On The Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland.
