Somehow, this fairly simple crossroads of Springhill Lane (left to right) and Warstones Road (foreground to centre) has acquired a pair of mini roundabouts, to the apparent confusion of at least some motorists while I was there. Many years ago, Wolverhampton Corporation's route 35 terminated here, quite possibly turning round in this junction; nowadays, buses on route 4 (one of which is visible, having recently arrived from Pendeford via Wolverhampton city centre) continue a couple of hundred yards further south to circumnavigate the large roundabout where Warstones Road meets the A449.
