The shocking pink marquee at the start and finish of the weekend's Monnwalk charity event is slowly being dismantled. I asked the security guard if I could step a few metres to the left to get the photograph without the pile of pink crates in the foreground. He refused, on the grounds that he didn't know where the photograph would appear, and that the management wouldn't like it if they saw a photograph taken from inside the enclosure. So here is a not-quite-as-good-as-it-might-have-been image. I wonder what harm he thought an auld wifie under his surveillance could have inflicted on the site?
