Awaiting export, possibly to Spain, see http://www.wisbechstandard.co.uk/news/first_export_consignment_in_more_than_10_years_1_382371 The slight bend in the river here is called Horseshoe Corner. Until the mid 19th century the Wisbech gallows stood here on the river bank so that the hangings could be seen from the town as a warning to others. The prisoners were brought by horse drawn cart from the Sessions House Gaol, sitting on their coffins. See http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/1589445
