"Lister Gate. Once the busy main road from the City Centre to the Railway Station and Trent Bridge, it is now part of the main pedestrian way through the City and is home to many of the large retail chains, including H+M and Marks and Spencer. Nottingham has some 15 streets incorporating the Norse-derived 'Gate', meaning a thoroughfare, not a barrier." Next in series Image
