Marfleet Lane Primary School, by John Bilson, William & Mary style, 1892, with later alterations and additions. Red brick with ashlar dressings and slate roof. Multi-paned sash windows including a tall elegant round-headed sash in the east elevation. One of eight of the original 37 Hull Board Schools in the city that remains in use as a school. Marfleet is unusual in being single-storey, reflecting its semi-rural location.
