Wimpole Avenue viewed from the A603, Cambridge to Sandy road. In total the avenue is two miles long, part is behind the photographer. Until the 1970s the avenue was lined with elm trees, these unfortunately succumbed to Dutch Elm Disease and have since been replanted with lime trees.
