Definitely Extra. I can't think of any other building in this country which puts me so much in mind of Mussolini. This central portico of five bays would make a good façade for the railway terminus in a dictator's capital. But the full width of the building is more like 35 bays (sorry, I lost count). The style I think you'd have to describe as Art Deco-Classical, with Egyptian flourishes. For many years - before being acquired by Tesco - it was a hosiery factory. Shot taken after closing time on a Sunday afternoon.
