Opened in 1871 by the Manchester Sheffield & Lincolnshire Railway on the line from Sheffield Victoria to Doncaster, this station closed in 1968. View north towards Mexborough and Doncaster. The line is still in use for freight and occasional diversions. The modern building to the right is roughly on the site of the main station building.
