Grade II listed Market Hall entrance and clock tower, Hereford

Viewed across High Town. The southern entrance to the Market Hall was built c1860. The clock in the tower was made by J Smith & Sons, Midland Steam Clock Works, Derby. Grade II listing was awarded in June 1952. The low angle of the sun in mid-January casts a shadow which gives an eerie appearance to passers-by.
