The A612 ahead leads on towards Burton Joyce. The blue-painted "Holy Trinity Kings Chapelry" noticeboard on the right identifies another section of the Old Main Road that was once a continuation of the section of the Old Main Road seen visible on the left. This left hand branch leads to the oldest part of Bulcote village. Lowdham, Thurgaton and Southwell lie much further along the Nottingham-Southwell Road, behind the photographer.
