Heiferlaw Tower

A ruined pele tower, it was built as a lookout for Alnwick Abbey. It can be dated from the heraldic panels of the period 1470-89 bearing the arms of Alnwick Abbey, and Earl Henry Percy, on the northeast and southeast walls.
