Made from steel, The Singing Tree is in a semicircle of ornamental trees located between High Street and Hall Street. The 5 metre high artwork, funded by a grant from the Arts Council of Wales, contains 100 metallic birds in its branches. Its creator Jon Mills incorporated motion-activated sensors that trigger audio and lighting displays.
