Haigh Windmill, Cap and Weather Vane

Haigh Windmill is the only standing windmill left in Greater Manchester (see Image] for more details). As part of the recent restoration, the fibreglass cap has been modified and repainted to improve its appearance and a new weather vane, in the shape of a fish, has been placed on the top. This replicates the detail evidenced by the earliest photographs of the windmill.
