Ahead is the ex-GNR line, to the left from Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City via Luton to Dunstable Town (just to the right), then on almost to Dunstable North station, which was ex-LNWR and the terminus of the LNW branch from Leighton Buzzard. Both Dunstable stations closed to passengers 26/4/65, but goods Hatfield - Dunstable North remained until 9/10/67. By 1990, the disused line over the bridge was probably converted to a footpath, prior to subsequent demolition and replacement of the bridge, for the Luton Airport - Houghton Regis Guided Busway opening in 2013.
