This traditional and (locally) famous former Boys Grammar School is now part of a group of schools called AK's ... which sounds like some sort of Pub Chain or rival to Starbucks. Some would say this is progress ... I would say shame! Between the School and the Sandhills is a road named Inner Promenade, which connects lovely Lytham St Annes to Brash and Breezy Blackpool ... my advice is to stick to Lytham St Annes. In Ansdell, the flat grassy land between the Inner Promenade (on the left) and the actual Sandhills (on the right) is a popular walking and dog exercising area. See also ... Image Image
