The picture was taken from Main Street (this is a view through a fence). Until recent years, Bonhill School was located here, in a red sandstone building that opened in 1874. The remains of the old building have been thoroughly cleared away, leaving this bare space; the present-day Image building is located directly across the Main Street from this site.
