This stream leads from Becontree, Dagenham, southwards through the suburbs of Dagenham and Goresbrook Park before heading through the marshland of Barking Riverside. Then it passes under Choats Road before leading down towards the River Thames. There were plans for this marshland to be used as development land, but they have been put on hold due to the financial crisis. But may one day re-emerge.
